I've been to heaven and it's called "On Golden Pond".

I took a little side trip on the way home tonight and checked out where the pond is. What a beautiful place! Nice green grass everywhere, big trees providing lots of shade. I'm impressed P-DUB, nice place!

One question P-DUB, when you are approaching the pond from the south do you want us to turn on the road that skirts along the southern border of the pond or do we go all the way up to the house area?

Again Nice Place!! ;)

Elkhunter,
I will be bringing it to the pond day on the 19th. I'll let you know so that you can help me post them. :D

It doesn't matter. Those houses are people who work for the company! They are the feild foremen and their families. I told them we'd be out there. So on the 19th, no one should shoot at ya! hehe

Park where's there's space and you're not blocking anything!

Glad you liked it! You'll like it even more onthe 19th! :D

Very cool,

What types of lures have you been using lately to catch bass? I don't want to drag anymore tackle out then necessary. I am a true tackle ho. ;)

See ya the 19th.

Curly tail jigs, plastic worms (real worms) work very well. If you fly fish, flies work well in the morning and evenings. The pan fish hit flies all day long!

I've never tried may crank baits...plastics always have seemed to work well! Zarra Spooks work well in evenings, I suppose other top water baits will too.

You know, if you wanted to try minnows/shad, they'd probably do very well. But I never tried it!

That's about all I know. When I usually go, it's with a few plastic worm and jigs...different colors (they seems to get particular to color sometimes, and other times they don't seem to care)

Hope this helps!

P-DUB,

Thanks for the info.

I think that between all of us we'll find a good color or presentation that the bass will like. I don't mind sharing my baits and I'm sure everybody else will too. Well, ofcourse you might want to watch out for the Delmart ProStaff. I sure they will be on the lookout for any loose bait/rods/reels/women etc....!
