That gets better with time as you'll have more PTO. Right now my biggest hurdle is planning around how much of what of kids I'm going to miss... One shortcut in Sept will be to just take the kid with me. Should draw odds stay the same, my 12yo will be in WY hunting pronghorn this year.My problem is, I tend to plan myself right out of vacation time pretty fast. The deeper you dive in, the more opportunities you discover. I've probably got enough adventures "planned" to fill a decade's worth of PTO.
