Ithaca loves SI. He wants you to help him make SI the top dog at hunt talk. Don't fall for it. Shit....... I'm posting this in SI. :D Okay everybody that hates Ithaca and SI and their,I'm a better speller than you attidue, now go to fireside and tell me what it doing in your neck of the woods.don

Actually, I know SI will always be second to Fireside in total posts and I'm content that we're in that position. It sure wouldn't hurt some of those Fireside posters to engage in a little intellectual stimulation once in awhile, though.

pa mt man, I bet you're just mad because I missed your birthday congratulations thread. Happy Birthday, I'm sorry this card is late. :D

Wow, this is only 364 posts behind, just one more per day and in a year, it would be ahead. Does PA have laws about ATV use or what? How do they handle it, 1 million hunters there is a lot of hunters.

I would say from talking to others that they would love to be here, but hate to be called names and belittled for having an opinion.

I agree to an extent Russ. But as of late the name calling has not been from the ones you think. The core crop of Si is a certain group, that most disagree with, but they are no the one totally guilty of the name calling. they in fact have been posting a lot of very good posts, and though they have been attacked verbally, they have remained very civil through almost all of it.

I have seen a change for the better in the last few weeks. Maybe it will stay that way and there will be a lot more people down here putting their two cents in...

I would say in responce to this thread, you can't really steal people from "Fireside" they already belong to Moosies board. What he maybe needs to do, as some raids on other sites again, that alway's seemed to bring new people from other areas to here. Heck, that's how I ended up here... :)

Tom I don't own an ATV so I don't keep up to date on the laws. But I have watched as the laws have been added and places people rode shut down. It's funny, I almost bought one back in 1990 but they shut down one of the large areas to ride next to my farm. It was owned by a limestone company and the owners signed it over to gamecomisson and they patrol it. A lot of the land owned by buinesses went that way for liability reasons. All the land I hunt is private so I drive my f350 crewcab dually ,backhoe or tractor to the carcass. Boy, centuries from now people will study the tracks left from them and fight over the damage I caused and wished I had used an ATV. don
