TUCSON - Lining up to make a drive on the 18th fairway, a Tucson golfer was suddenly attacked by a crazed bobcat Tuesday at Skyline Country Club.
The man, who was seriously injured with puncture wounds and cuts, was taken to Tucson Medical Center.
Witnesses say the bobcat appeared to be sick or injured. After the attack, two golfers beat the bobcat to death with golf clubs.
A spokesman for Rural-Metro rescue says the bobcat may have been rabid.
