HB 122 just made it through first reading of the House, but still has a long row to hoe to become a reality.

It increases the Conservation Stamp by $9 to create consistent funding for the AccessYES! program - the thing that administers Walk In Areas and Hunter Management Areas.

Check 'er out and get a hold of Senators if you want to see some more hunter access in Wyoming (especially the Eastern side of the state).
 
Rep Greear says he’s only in support of this if it’s voluntary.
Which is currently how it's funded. 🤔

He's anti-fee, which I am on principle, too. But the Federation surveyed members and 75% would be happy to pay the increase for access. 24% said they wanted more info. Only 1 person said no. It seems like it's a worthy increase.
