+1 putm2sleep. Somebody should organize an olympic-like torch that runners take from state to state as the hunts open up each fall. Wow, even if I was this dumb and felt this way.....how do these people find the time?
They should hold a memorial for this deer that was killed by Wisconsin wolves and not eaten. I found this deer while it was still warm during the Wisconsin gun season. I eat the deer I kill, the wolves see it as optional. This is in farm country. There is no place for wolves here. The big woods is one thing but we don't need wolves in farm country, there are simply too many people and livestock. I'm happy to keep the deer population in check.
Saw 2 wolves within 200 yards of this location the same day. Looking closely at the wound you could tell it was a preditor. I guess I can't be 100% sure but I'm 99% sure. There was not any evidence of a bullet wound. The deer had not been shot.
