IDFG reposted this article in their October 2021 Clearwater Region newsletter.

It includes instructions on how to get collection kit, as well as how to extract lymph nodes from your kill and deliver or send them in for CWD testing.

If you are already afield in the region, all you need to do is visit the Region Office in Lewiston and they will do it in the parking lot. Then you can check out the cool taxidermy on the visitor's lobby.

Harvested a doe with a buddy and dropped it off for testing

I had a young Whitetail buck my Dad harvested & a Cow elk I harvested tested and both were not detected for CWD. Took about 4 weeks for the results.

The office in Lewiston is worth a look just for the taxidermy.
