My brother drew an elk tag in 37 so I'll be going with him on his hunt. Should be a lot of fun! Anybody who may have hunted the unit, I'd appreciate any advice you might have. Send me a private message, please! My wife's grandfather actually lives just a few minutes from the unit, but he's 94 and I don't think he knows anything about elk, or elk hunting. Although we may be able to stay at his house if where we end up hunting isn't too far of a drive from there. I've only driven the northern boundary of the unit, a few times when we were over there visiting.

I drew my extra deer tag but no luck on elk.

Beaverhead ML elk for me. This complicates my September plans but I'm not complaining one bit.
