Idaho 59a & 58 ATV Issues

Just curious if anyone has had any experience with this area and ATVs. The rules read that ATVs cannot be used on trails (other than to retrieve game) during hunting season but I have a suspicion that these rules are sometimes ignored... There are a lot of trails in this country and I just don't want to spend my whole week listening to 4 wheelers and dirt bikes. Thanks!

That's how I read it, but then I got out there into unit 58 and there were ATV's and dirt bikes on every trail every day. I asked one of the dirt bikers and he just looked at me like a told him the sky was green and said I must have misread the regs.

I thought that you can take a picture of someone on an ATV with a weapon and report them.

Keep in mind that the regs only apply to hunting from an ATV or bike. Riding for other reasons is controlled by the land agencies
