They screwed up on the first draw and after that they have been gun shy. They waited until the last minute on the first draw and it is looking like the second one as well.

My 10-year-old pulled a cow elk tag. She has a bull moose tag so if we happen to get success on that we can try for elk later. I need to have a discussion with her at some point about how in reality most draws end in heartbreak and not elation ...
