I actually uttered the words "get over here and run this wood splitter, so we can go faster", to a 6 year old girl. While we were working, I thought about it and laughed at how good of a job she does. She is one of those kids that just "gets it". She hung in there for about 2 hours. I gave her 5 bucks.

I have one kid, a five year old girl.Every now and again Dad utters "be strong", or "suck it up", etc. etc., Trying not to be overbearing,but the whole "princess" concept is something that needs balance.She already GETS her Dad and doesn't take a whole lot of nonsense from me,...imagine that.

Great stuff man, $5 seems like a real cheap azz to me Course I look back at when I was that age.........I got $5 per week for allowance and my stack of work around the house was probably 10X what kids do now adays.

In fact, I think I'll start being harder on my kids I'm gonna go have them mow the lawn with some sissors...lol for $5 each
