Hi all
Newish hunter from Eagle Idaho. Been learning a lot from reading everyone's posts and thought it was time to say hello and thank you. I decided to start hunting because I wanted to spend more time outdoors, it forces me to stay in shape and hopefully supplement my diet with some wild game. I'm mainly interested in filling the freezer. Haven't been successful with elk or deer yet but have been able to get a few ducks, pheasants and some dove over the last couple of years. If only dove weighed 200lbs! I drew a muzzleloader cow elk tag and an extra antler-less deer tag so hopefully I will be able to contribute to the forum this season.
I have a few tactical hunting questions that I will post in the correct forum.
