IMO if the other two dogs in that vid were pits they wouldn't have let there buddy get drug off by a lone wolf. If the pits lose the fight no big loss. If they win I'll euro out the skull for them and they would be one up on me.

A great pyrenesse could challenge a lone wolf and maybe even walk away. But it is one of the few that could... only reason I say that is because that is what sheepherders use and you typically don't hear about sheep dogs being killed. also a great pyrenesse is a BIG dog

Here's a Montana story where 3 pyrenesse fought 1 wolf, and didn't fair to well.

Wolf hounds are bigger. Best bet 1 on 1.
