Hi there everyone. Richard (Devon deer) put me into this site as one day soon I hope to come over and hunt in the U.S.
I stalk regularly in the UK but am also a keen fly fisherman. I love the 6.5x55 and use it on all the UK species but also shoot a 30-06 which I'm slowly getting to enjoy.

Welcome to the site. The 6.5x55 swede is a great round. When were you planning to come to the states? Are you going to join Richard on one of his trips to Montana?

I just need to convince my wife i need to revisit Montana again in 2018, strangely i had mentioned it to her today, giving you as the excuse i had to return again in 2018!
I will see how she is after i return from my planned trip in October.
Glad you are getting used to the 30-06.
