I would have to say the garbage from the illegals could be cleaned up in 20 minutes. The tracks and damage from the Fat-Assed ATV riders will take longer to be removed.

I can show you pics as bad if not worse from mountain bikes. Trails just as bad from hikers, horses and cattle. I now think we should get rid of everyone that uses the public lands.

I just came from the border....no comparison to the damage that the illegals do! not even close.... plus its like comparing apples to oranges.....ATV`s don`t shit in streams and riparian areas....I have never ever seen atv`s do the MONUMENTAL damage to the habitat that illegals do. hump [not in AZ].

Illegals break in trailers and cabins around here a lot. They do it for food and water. They leave water running where its scarce. I think that's the main damage around here from them. Worse than bears, they're smarter about getting to human food and water.

I do agree with him and others that the illeagals are a big problem. Just not the end of the world. It has been going on for many years, will be going on for many more and the minutemen will not change that. I too wish the govt would get a handle on it.

There still " BEANERS" and there is some decent mexican americans out there who pay taxes and do there part as a us citizen. Don't mean to come off as racist because I'am really not. Maybe the term " uncivilized " might suit it better.

How can you compare tire tracks to trash? I just don't understand how you claim to be a defender of your national parks/forests/refuges/monuments/wilderness areas etc. and not be irate at the damage done by illegals. The ATV tracks will take 2 seasons of rain by mother nature to correct and the plastic bottles will take 1000 years to decompose. Why don't you join us for the trash cleanup next weekend?
here's a little factoid for you--Recycling a one-gallon plastic milk jug will save enough energy to keep a 100-watt bulb burning for 11 hours.
so let's say there are 5 million water bottles in the southern Arizona desert (probably a conservative estimate considering the 500,000 illegals that cross here every year carrying 3-4 bottles each), that's enough electricity to keep a 100 watt light bulb going for 2.3 million years. Come on down and help us clean up!
