Help with my Garmin

I am trying to set several way-point into my Garmin that I have researched on Google Earth. My problem is the number system is slightly different. In a test I found my parking lot at work. Google Earth indicates readings of...

N 45 40' 22.47" W 111 11' 32.26"



My Garmin, from the exact location, reads the following....

N 45 40.417' W 111 11.519'



Whats up??

Google Earth uses Degrees, Minutes, & Seconds as a measurement
GPS uses a GPS coordinate

change GE from deg min sec to decimal degrees, or change the Garmin from decimal degrees to deg min sec

Thank you very much!! I also discovered I can divide seconds by 60 and calculate the minutes. My brain was starting to over heat on this one.....thanks again!
