Help me find a moose camp near Dillon MT?

Hey folks. I'm planning for an extended moose hunt in the Pioneers. Unit 324. I've got some leads on places to look for a moose but I'm trying to find a place to pitch my tipi. I'm aiming near Dillon MT. A USFS campground with pit toilets and water would be nice but not necessary. If you have any tips you don't mind sharing, please DM me. I'm just after moose and won't take your elk spot, promise.

If there are no fire restrictions that prevent a campfire, why do you need a pit toilet?

I would say Wise River Road, it’s a great road that cuts through the unit. There are numerous maintained campgrounds. There is also FAS campgrounds at Divide and Jerry Creek on the north side next to 319. Good luck on your hunt and have fun, hope you kill a good one.

Crystal Park. Bet you’d find moose in the meadow down the hill… has all the amenities and surrounded by some beautiful NF. I’m sorry I didn’t look up moose 324 district but if it’s the pioneers it should be legit. Good luck!

Likewise...Drew a moose tag close to you, but in a different HD...I'll be camping in a spot that might work for you as well...DM me for a suggestion if you're interested...
