Just had a big breakfast, in behalf of my children, by my wife.

Will have a nice lunch of burgers, dogs, tater salad etc prepared by the girls as I kick back to some Nascar. I am blessed to share the day with my Father, 4 sons, 1 son in law and my brand new Grandson.

I know this is going to draw direct fire, but I just spent the last 7 hrs furniture shopping with my son & Robbie . It's been 11 yrs since the divorce, and he just graduated. He's moving in with me to a new home he found for us. Nice place, I like it.. Too nice to haul that old used-up crap I have been surviving on, so it's new Man Cave time. Brown Leather Living room, 51" Flat screen TV, Glass top dining room, and bedrooms to suit our individual taste.

Toss in Miss Robbie's very artfull taste to acsent, and it's going to be a warm inviting comfort zone to relax, enjoy friends, and call Home.

Had a great day; son and DIL, grandkids treated me and the bride to shepherd's pie, bangers and mash, plenty of Guiness at Finnegan's Wake in Winston-Salem.
Great little Irish pub if ever in the area; just stop in and ask for Opie, he'll fix you up.

I know it's late for this post, but I'm always late. I had 26 people over for Father's Day elk kabobs and a lot of other stuff, including home-made ice cream, then for my last dessert my daughter made me a burger and fries - it was actually a brownie and cake burger and cookie fries with frosting dipping sauce, almost too cute to eat, almost.

To tell you the truth that last post of mine made me feel like my testosterone level must be low - I mean a picture of dessert on a hunting site? So here's a pic of a couple of bulls I took late in the winter and hope to find this fall! Well, that helped, now just dreaming of elk this fall . . .
