Halloween Buck in MN

I got lucky on Halloween and the wife let me go hunting while she had the kids out trick or treating and it paid off big. I almost didnt go since it was in the mid 50s with slight breeze and sunny, but i had seen some smaller bucks chasing so i figured things were heating up. I got settled in my blind a 4 o'clock and right after 5 i had a doe come running in and looking back, so i got ready figuring she was being chased. The buck that happen to be chasing her was the one i was holding out for and before i knew it, he was broadside at 30 yards. A double lung shot and short blood trail later, i was on cloud 9! Ive got 2 years of pictures and one shed off this guy.

I only use a ground blind because it’s my only option, there’s no trees on this property suitable for a stand, it’s just some brush and crp
