I'm looking at bidding on some powder and was wondering if anyone uses or knows about these two. ViHt N160 and IMR 8133.

I tried IMR8133 in my 7mmRemMag but for some reason I hit pressure really early and I never revisited it. Hodgdon suggests that it has similar characteristics to Retumbo but I've found that I really needed to cram the case full compared to Retumbo.

Powder valley has had h4831 twice today in stock @$40. I know it’s not short cut but you could use it.

In my opinion, I try to stick with Hodgdon Extreme Powders (such as 4831SC) for max insensitivity to temp swings. That being said, in a pinch, N160 should work in those cartridges (especially if you are loading heavy for caliber bullets).

I stay away from CFE223.
The only powder i've had temp issues with. That and could never get ES/SD down to my liking.
I've never had any temp issues with any other powder.

The N160 should work well in your 270 Win.
By "7mm", i'm assuming 7mm Rem Mag.
Both powders should work in a Rem Mag.

I have used N160 in 270, 7 mag and 308 Norma mag and found a few excellent loads, the 308 liked a max load with both 165 and 180 bullets. I preferred the H4831sc in the 270 and 7 mag, just metered way better than regular H4831. The V160 meters very accurately.
