This one just showed up, and that seems to be common at the beginning of the rut. I'd been after a really big bull the first 4-5 days, but only saw him twice....man, he was nice!

The one I took, gave me a perfect shot that I thought was 100%...It was a great moment.

But, back to the real world, cell phones, email, work....

If the other one was bigger, well, my imagination doesn't stretch that far. This one is about as nice as 6 pt as I've ever seen and really as nice as any elk out there. I bet it was a hell of a moment!
