I am venturing out for fall turkey hunt for the first time. I have been researching crossbows/particularly budget crossbows because I don’t know if it would be wise to dive in with an expensive one if I don't know how much I would enjoy turkey hunting.
At the archery shop I was shown a 10 point with accuslide for a little over $1000. I really like that cocking mechanism. But I know that wicked ridge makes some much more budget friendly crossbows.
Does accuslide even exist in a bow below the $600 range?
I would not hesitate this much over the price point normally but I’m currently building a 9k custom rifle so my gear budget is already spent.
