Good elk rifle for my wife?

Should add this though. My wife shooting a Ruger .257 and a Winchester 7mm08, is shooting a couple pretty reasonable and common sense units.......

My vote would be 7mm-08, with the .260 and .308 occupying the silver and bronze spots on the podium. I'll also second the suggestion to let her try some rifles on at the store. Wives are known to have strong opinions, at times.
