Took a ride to Gettysburg taking the back roads about 200 miles round trip. Stopped and saw mom and pop on the way and then headed on into G-burg. 1st stop the main circle in the middle of town. "THE PUB" is a nice place to stop and eat. My niece is the pastery cheif and the food is great too. She makes a great carrot cake and everything. else. Then a trip around the back side of the battle field and headed home.

Thanks Chuck. I pulled into Harley and rode around the line. I had a lot of eyes on the Black Diamond paint job. My look like a standard but the paint makes her stand tall in a crowd. I like it. :)

Historic place . Thats for sure. Went there as a kid about 9-10, don't remember to much except alot of scenes like the one with Your bike by the grassy area. I remember alot of them with splt rail fences around em. Be nice to go back. We went thru the amish country and the Hershey factory too.....BOB!

Amazing place with special feeling from the profound events 150 years ago.

Little Big Horn, Alamo and Ground Zero also have the feeling of tragic history.

Nice bike and weather looks nice. Thanks for sharing.

This year is the 150th anniversary of Gettysburg. May be as big as Sturgus. Gettysburg always draws a big crowd bike week there is no different.
If any one want to make it out I can assists you with info for places to stay. I'm 60 miles from there highway miles. Gaithersburg Md, Fredrick is 30 and a easy ride , good accommodation.
