Getting nervous about Trump!

I don't know much about Bernie. The only thing I know about him that is a positive is that he isn't a Clinton.

I however don't think he would be very successful at pushing his agenda through congress. The next few years are gonna be long and hard regardless of who we elect.

If I were elected I would run on a platform of paying off the national debt. We need to attack the debt like we did the space race. We need to mobilize as one people and pay it off a few hard years of sacrifice by all of us get it paid off, control spending then the world will be our oyster again.

Fyi the vast majority of people who are paying for the public ground you hunt will never step foot on it.

Not true for Florida only 22% of the funds come from Fed Programs the rest is from different trust funded by sportsman. Compared to the states general budget that get 34% of it's budget from the Feds and our lands make money. The state made $357M and spent $214M in 2015-2016. Growing the trust funds by quite a bit. Out west you guys are a lot different and I am only just learning how your craziness works. It is ridiculously complicated. But Sportsman spend an insane amount of money and boost the economy drastically. Maybe not locally in your isolated area but in the big picture.

The discussion and my context is referring to federally managed land in the West that he claims to hunt and how most of the working class in this country is paying for it.

We also have state for profit trust lands. The legislature can't seem to find buyers for all of it. Apple's and oranges.

I've been listening to some of Newbergs unfiltered podcast and it seem land management out west is a complicated mess. I am interested purely from a curiosity standpoint. I really have no desire to hunt elk or moose although a mule deer, blacktail, or pronghorn would be cool as can be. You guys really are lucky to have so much big game.

Well then, how do I get my taxes back then? The issue with your loving communism is that we the people would be forced to fund programs that we don't use. I use the road, and I pay a tax to do so, same with fire, police, so on and so forth. Why should we be forced to pay for your food stamps, housing, college education, health care, and so forth? I shouldn't. But the commuinists have a different view point. And yes some of us believe there is already way too much socialism in this country already.

The argument for social programs is that in the end they save us money. Consider you example of health care. The people who can't afford it will delay treatment until it is very expensive, then declare bankruptcy when they get the bill. Society will be stuck with these costs one way or another. Various government assistance programs fit this model. Some not so much, especially the "welfare" given to corporations, although they try to make the same argument that the money given to them is given back to society in terms of jobs, etc.

In socialist ideology and utopia, you're correct, but history shows us time and time again that in reality socialism is not for the socialist. It is for the peasants. Socialism is the height of tyranny and takes force and coercion to implement.
In a libertarian society folks could voluntarily be a part of a socialist group of they liked. I have no problem with that.
I have a problem with government goons forcing me to participate with an assault rifle at my head.

That said, I still want trump or sanders. Bring the establishment to their knees. Too bad they can't be beheaded for 100 years of treason and theft while they're down there.

Have you ever been to a socialist country?

Did the people look like they were suffering from "the height of tyranny and takes force and coercion "?

Yes I have. Several of the different flavors too.
Are you trying to say that it does not take force and coercion? Go without paying the taxes required of you, and let us know in a few years how that is working out.

Forcing someone to pay for something that they don't want, merely because you've deemed it would be good for him, is tyranny.

You are referring to the US and our Capitalist system, I assume?

Try going without paying your taxes. Let us know how that works out.

At the risk of straying too far from Trumpaphobia and just about every maroon's Texas envy obsession, let me ask you Jose,....does your penchant to extol Obama mean you are in favor of continuing his 'legacy' with Madame Clinton?

..a simple yes or no...no charts please.
