Garmin GPSMAP 64st MicroSD?

Okay all, new to this handheld GPS world...

I recently bought a Garmin GPSMAP 64st with Birdseye and Topo 100k. All of those maps work, but when I install my MicroSD that has North Dakota PLOTS map files from the ND G&F website (free for all to use), no options pop up to load the map, and I find nowhere to be able to "load microsd", etc.

Basically, the maps won't work and I'm frustrated because I would like to use it for thunder chickens here in ND NOW. Any and all help is appreciated.

I don't use the birds eye or the 100k topo,,,I just get a 24k state chip from x maps,plug it in and it works.good luck.

Yeah, I just don't know why I can't get the darn ND PLOTS maps to load!! GRRR.

good luck,,these electronic things are sometimes tough to figure out for some of us not fully updated,,,probly something the younger generation can figure out

I should be able to. I am 26, so I even grew up in this generation of computerized lives but I don't fit into that crowd.. Sometimes I wish I did.
