Prototype complete. Breathable but tightly woven ripstop. Long cinch cord which is strong enough to use for hanging out from a tree. 40 inches by 24 inches. Lightweight.

Those fine strings will undoubtedly hurt some fingers! Reminds me of trying to pull some braided fishing line by hand and it just slicing through the skin.

Done. Made eight bags, four for me, four for my son in law.

Reduced overall weight of four bags by half pound compared to my old ones. Four bags have the bulk of one of the old ones, and they are larger. Should be much more durable. Have the ability to hang in a tree. Still quite breathable. Time to test them out.

Cool, what was material cost and how long did you work on them? What is the weight of them?

Four large bags cost 35 bucks in materials. I can make one bag in about twenty minutes once I have them cut.

Very nice! I tried the plastic sliders but ended up not liking them.

Slide them into a vacuum seal bag and really shrink them down I put rubber gloves and knife blades in mine also and seal it up
