I haven't made the treck yet and likely won't have time to this year. I need to make it a point to go over for a week in 2024. It's tough to drive by 3 lakes full of Walters to get to Peck though... good problems to have :)

Unfortunately I didn't make it down this year but plan on getting in next spring. Was supposed to go in August but had to cancel. It not that far from me but it's just enough that I can't just hook up the boat and go for the day. I managed a few Lakers through the ice and some nice walleye after ice out. Might have to burn a few vacation days in June I guess. Nice fish though just keeps fueling the fire.

hell if you’re getting a fish a day, you’re doing better than on the Columbia, Kenai or Alagnak or the Nush. Those age good looking fish. Well done. How cold is the water you are finding them in? I would have assumed that to be pretty warm for such bright fish.
