FS - Recurve Bow / Bob Lee Signature - SOLD

It's a nice bow, a very good shooter, but my tore up shoulders just can't handle anymore. It's 62" in length. 55# draw weight at 28" draw. It was custom made for Ronny Evans, the grip would fit someone with average-size to bigger hands. It's seen some use in the Texas live oak country and the Montana mountains, has knick or two, but the finish is good. Right handed.

Honestly I'm not real sure. About 20-25 years. I bought it in Denton, TX in the late '90s.

The draw length on a stick bow is relative, dependant on the shooter to an extent. There's nothing to stop the draw like on a compound. 28" is pretty much the standard, it's about what the average-build guy is comfortable with, so bowyers build their bows so the target draw weight is reached at 28". Thus: 55# at 28". I tend to draw and anchor a little long than that, so for me the draw weight is a little higher than that upon release.

Traditional bows are cool. I used to live and breathe them, but my interests have shifted over the years. If I get back into stick bows it will certainly have be a lower draw weight.

Thanks, that’s what I thought but wasn’t sure. I have a 31” draw on my compound so that sounds pretty brutal with a stick bow.

I see you shoot some old school Easton aluminium arrows as well. One day I may switch to carbon but I have too many aluminum arrows accumulated to justify buying new ones. The aluminums are just so easy to tune and refletch too.

Very sad news for those who are a fan of the charts of different celebrities on their favorite weapons. Personally, I think this bow looks very good. With Bob Lee's signature it could have been better, but I think the quality of the bow is excellent. I would buy onions simply because of their quality. Bows are doing better now than before. I really want people to try, try to pay more attention to the quality of the onion. At the moment, I personally order best recurve bow 2021 at outdoorangle. Everything here is not very expensive and of high quality.
