I’ve always flown to Alaska on commercial airlines and scheduled small plane flights to native communities.
I’ve never flown in a bush plane and I’ve been trying to arrange one for Sep 2025 but every number I have called I get “that number is no longer in service “

Wanting to get dropped off south side of Brooks Range and float down.

Do air taxis come and go out of business regularly ?

Seem to mostly go, not many new ones coming. Wright air has bought some up. Tough to get in, return customers get preference with most, insurance went way up for them as I understand as well so prices too. Just gotta keep trying and adapting, good luck.

It’s very hard. A friend and I cancelled a hunt there last year because we couldn’t get flown
