Frosty Sierra morning

Another great day deer hunting, with no shots fired.

Headed up this morning with thoughts of crossing the same creek I did two weeks ago.
Well, the creek was high and the rocks I would need to hop across were covered with ice, so I took the walk in reverse, hiking up the gated road that I used to hike out last time.
5 or 6 miles round trip.
Saw 6 does, no bucks, but I had a great time seeing sun up in the back country.

Lots of berry popcycles for the bears to eat

The sun came out and it warmed right up.

Some areas up there got over 2 feet of snow from that storm. Crazy, but it did move the bucks a lot. My dad and my uncle in law both got their bucks. One in d-6 and one in x-12. Will post pics of latest hunts and harvests when received.
