Took my boys out to Kansas last weekend and had a great time. We didn't catch as many crappie as I was hoping, but the wipers sure kept the boys entertained. I didn't reel in a single fish and it was a blast. The fish in the sunset picture my six year old caught by himself, I was up at the truck. I don't think smiles can get much bigger.

Can someone let me know why my pictures are rotated properly in the "preview post" but they are sideways when I actually submit them:confused:

It doesn't get any better than that! Yesterday I took my son fishing for the first time since I've been back. We only caught 1 trout but it was a great time and let me know I'm back home. I'm sitting here in the dark fishing right now. Drinking and thinking. Good job dad

Good times! Most of my time spent 'fishing' is doing just as you were doing. Most times I prefer it that way.

Awesome job dad!
Memories that will last forever...or at least til they discover girls :D

Exactly. Thankfully it's short term memory loss, I know all the memories came back to me in my mid 20's :)

Dig those huge smiles! Priceless. I haven't reeled in many fish the past 14 years and never had more fun fishing. As soon as my oldest got self sufficient his little bro starting tagging along and started the cycle over.

That is awesome! That's what it is all about . . . . . making memories. Great "quality" time.

When they get older, they will look back and remember (and laugh at themselves) spending time fishing with Dad. Love those "grins/smiles".

Keep it up.
