Fishing trip question

I have also posted this in teh Saltwater fishing section, but i think more people stop by here.

OK, plans have changed. We will not be able to go to Alaska for the salmon run next year, so now we are looking at a saltwater fishing trip. Where would you guys suggest? I have been looking at Cabo San Lucas and Costa Rica, but am open to any other locations in central america or the caribbean, as well as charters out of the good ol USA. Any and all input is welcome.

Cabo can be lots of fun and not to expensive compared to most other fishing destanations. If fishing is the only reason for the trip, look at the "East Cape" region, on the inside just north of Cabo
