First Montana Turkeys and with a Bow!

This was a great hunt this past weekend. This was my first time killing Montana Turkeys and I did it with my bow...Awesome weekend! My second turkey was shot in 12 degree weather with some snow falling (not much) but it was really cold. He was the 6th gobbler I had seen that morning that I could get a shot at. The others would never stop or would keep their distance because they weren't mature birds.

Excellent double bird weekend. It is amazing how varied the terrain can be to support thriving turkey populations.
