First Etolin Elk hunt coming up

I'm getting ready for my first Elk Hunt. Very jazzed. I drew permit for the late hunt (last two weeks October) on Etolin Island.
I don't know much about the beast or the location. just that it is a tough hunt: the early hunt because of the topography and the late hunt because of the weather.
I'll be hunting alone. Going in by boat and hunting low country.
Any Etolin vets out there have any pointers or advice?
