So one of my main homies is having a big pool party today and asked me if I wanted to go to Indiana last night to pick up some illegal explosives to cap off the festivities.
Admittedly, nowadays, I see them as a bit of a waste of money, but he’s got a stable of children ranging in ages from 3-12 and some of my favorite memories from that age are times around the 4th when my dad and his friends would let us set off mortars in front of our house in town with their lit cigarettes as lighters so I picked up $150 worth of Mississippi gamblers and meet mr Big’s.
Got a couple packs of name brand Roman candles for some of the older kids to shoot at each other.
Also bought a small brick of lady fingers to throw at the construction crew and truck drivers out on the paving jobs this summer.
My homie ended up dropping like 7 notes and getting $120 back in store credit so we’re pretty strapped.
About to go over to his place, drink some Texas ranch waters and start placing tubes for tonight’s salute to freedom.
