Sure, they're a little ahead, but it's all crap like "Happy Birthday" and "What's the weather like?" Lots of five to ten word posts all full of hugs and sweetness. Makes me sick. When was the last time anyone actually learned anything in Fireside?

Once in awhile one of them ventures down here to SI and quickly retreats. Too tough for them. What a bunch of touchy feely wimps!

Which forum has the highest average number of words in their posts?

OK, We won't count all the cut and pastes. But I think our SI posts average much longer than the "Happy Birthday" types of Fireside posts. How many times have you seen somebody actually write a few paragraphs in Fireside?

My point is; even though we might not have as many posts, we put a lot more work and info into the ones we make. This isn't some simplistic "have a nice day" forum.

Hey Delw maybe you can put those "phrases" in a one-click (like the smilies) so that we can add them in quicker...not burn up so much air time
Or just create a drop down dialog box to add the pet phrase of one's choice!

It seems like everybody else in SI can add some value but Elkcheese. Even in a post about nothing, he can't add any value....

Sorry, but I don't buy that chit. What make your post or anyones post any more important to the viewer. If you don't like the topic or posts, simply don't read them. But apparently that isn't the case, you must get something out of them as you know what they are or you wouldn't have made that statement. So get off your friggin high horse, have a good time, which is what Hunt Talk is about, and maybe you can learn something from Fireside just like I can from SI.

Everything that some people post is in SI regardless of what the topic is. All the game forums are slow, but yet some people on here post game subjects in the SI instead of in their respective forums.

As far as I am concerned this is a stupid post put into SI only to try to bring the SI forum up to the Fireside forum. What the frig does this thread have to do with politics or hunting? Absolutely nothing. This should have also been in Fireside.

Actually when before we moved teh forum We had to delete 90% of fireside becuase thast what the old forum techs told me. We only had to delete about 5% of SI.

Elkhunter, WOW, you sound pissed off! Good, that's what keeps SI interesting.

"If you don't like the topic or posts, simply don't read them." I don't, most of the time. I probably only look in Fireside about once a week. Too dull.
