I've got 3 CDS scopes and love them all, but have never sent in the info to get the custom turrets made because I've swapped them between rifles and changed ammo a few times. Well, they are pretty well set on the guns they are going to stay on now, and although I hand load some of my ammo, I want to set the scopes up with factory ammo. Here's what I'm considering:
For the .270 - 130gr load Hornady GMX, Barnes TTSX, or Nosler Accubond. This gun seems to really like the Barnes, and I've killed 2 mule deer with it. This is primarily my deer/elk back up rifle. Winchester featherweight M70
For the .308 - probably a 165 gr in the same 3 options as above. This gun is not set up ideally for mountain hunting, but it is accurate and fun to shoot. Rem 700 Tactical Heavy barrel that has been cut to 16". Short and fat.
For the .300 BLK - No brainier, going to be the Barnes 110 gr. TacTX. Fantastic bullet. This one is on my AR and the gun has killed 3 or 4 deer and several hogs already. Chronos right at 2300 fps.
Thought I'd throw this out there just for fun.
