I finally got to go out hunting. I was drawn for a antlerless Elk tag on the Navajo Nation Reservation. I loved this hunt not because I got one, but because I found a pair of sheds that's once in a life time. I have a neighbor that's a elk hunter fanatic that scored these antlers 383inches. I got a taste of what it feels like to find some sheds. Well hope you guys like the pictures.

Congratulations on filling your tag and finding those awesome sheds. Looks like your needs were well taken care of on this trip. Is this a tag that you can draw on a regular basis, or is it a tough tag to get?

thank you. I think that this tag is available to tribal members. My hunting tag was for Feb 1-28 and units 1-11, pretty much the main reservation. The amount of tags I'm thinking was 10 antlerless and 10 bull tags. I think that they have some where around 6-8 rifle elk hunts for draw. The nontribal members hunts are in the fall. I defiantly had a great time on this hunt.

Beautiful find !! You can rub some brown and black shoe polish on them and make them look natural. Use more brown than the black. They will look like they are still on the Elk.

thank you Laelkhunter and for the advice for coloring them, I've also been seeing on youtube people using coffee grounds too.

You would be hard pressed to find a better pair of 6x6 sheds.....great. Congratulations on them and the successful hunt.
