Well I figured some of you would blame it on them so I had to mention it.
actually these were taken on the colorado river during a recent tourny.

WOW, now that's a tight channel. Is that open because of boat traffic, or deep channel?????? I guess they should be required to keep their boats were the passenger boats can travel.......... ;) ;)

Thats just the widest part , most of the time its just a tunnel, we went through there and made it a tad wider.
it opens up into 9 different back water lakes.

the other parts I couldnt get pics cause we were laying under the consols so we didnt get hit with reeds.
we just put the boat in gear and idle through it . its about 4 feet deep.
when we first found it all that was over growth, our props cut the stuff up. by sunday afternoon the whole place looked like the pics above and was alot easier to get into.

there were only about 4 boats that went back there friday sat and sunday.

OH, the degradation. :D OH, the habitat destruction. ;) :) :) ;) :D

Yah, but did you catch good enough fish there to win anything?

In the back waters where it leads too (wilderness areas ;) ) my buddys non boater pulled 17lbs off it the first day. the second day my buddy pulled 11 lbs off it.

I did zip nadda nothing.

I am going back this weekend it looks like and probally next weekend for a tourny. Its a cool place.
