Family Bluegillin'

Last week the family headed to "The Swamp" to wet a few lines. Bluegill/red ear were staging for the spawn. Cleaned 16 fish, two females full of eggs and the rest males. Figured this weekend would be great! Then Ma' Nature threw a changeup; 32º for a low on Friday night. We still decided to give a go and were joined by my SIL and her family; first fishing trip for my neice and nephew. We finally started catching some fish, but they were finicky and all males guarding nests. Still a good time and a great meal to come!
