Well done greenhorn and big congrats to your son. I can only imagine how proud it would be for you to watch him grow into a hunter, and enjoy everything in the outdoors you love. For a father it cannot get any better then that. Mine are on their way, but still a few years off from climbing elk hills.

How do you like that .284? I've been wondering about building one. What slugs does your buddy run in it? Any idea what the velocity is like?
