It was a very hard hunt this year. Saw some nice bulls on the opening but no shot was offered. It was another two plus weeks before I saw another decent bull, and it was a decent bull but only saw it as he disappeared over the ridge never to be seen by me again. I was considering taking a cow when on the other side of the ridge I saw this guy with a bunch of cows, calfs and a spike. End of story.
