Elk in West Virginia. No really!

I saw this story on FaceBook today. I'm a Mountaineer transplanted to New Mexico. There have been rumors of elk from the Kentucky herd migrating across the Tug Fork into WV for a few years, but the first official transplants were this past spring. Now they have new calves.

Good to see them making a come back. And thanks to the RMEF for all the hard work.
 
That's great. We have some land in the bordering county in VA (Buchanan). The herd there is doing really good.
