Just having fun. I have 3 Elk rosettes laying around I used for scrim shawl. Thought maybe this would be cool to try. This is Maple Burl/ spalt bottom , crystal sounding board with slate top. , I need to practice cutting slate. But it has a great sound with the Black African striker.

That is cool! I'm going to keep you in mind if I ever find a shed with a base big enough to do this. A custom call like that could become a family heirloom.

I sold this one and another today. I still have 4 rosettes. But if anyone has an idea where I can by more I'd appreciate yhe leads.

I was able to get 10 large rossettes. I'll have these sounding as good as any pot call can be. If any would like to order one, they should be ready in a few weeks once I get a bit more of the rehab done.

man i would submit that to the national call makers contest and id love to own one if you start making them hollar at me i hunt elk and turkey and would love to own one of those beauties
