Electrical tape/muzzle forensics

This is a simple enough experiment to do on your own. While I highly value the information provided by people on this forum, I would just test it yourself at the range. Then you will be 100% confident that your rifle, setup exactly how you intend to hunt with it, will do exactly what you want it to do. Used condom, flex seal, shamwow, whatever....

My buddy and I shot a buck at close range and had to track it a ways due to imperfect shot placement. It wasn’t the tape on our shotgun muzzles...it was buck fever!

I have always used tape on a muzzleloader. Although I have had a couple of misses, I think those were all me and not the tape.

Tip - if you put a piece of tape over the muzzle of your muzzleloader and then wrap a second piece around the barrel to secure the first piece, don’t get in a hurry and wrap it around your ramrod, too. I know a guy who did that. 😀
