E scouting

I am planning 2020 second rifle seaosn in CO. I have not picked a unit yet. I dont cace about all that yet. But for that season what are some things i should be looking for in the e scouting. Never elk hunted. From OH so flatesh lander here

youtube, randy newberg hunter, has a series on e-scouting. Well worth the watch.

First thing I do is turn on all the roads, 2nd is to look and see where the people will come from. Last thing I do is look for meadows. The one thing I never do is look for north slopes.

It was dry dry dry last year for CO. Water was key and know where closed roads are due to fires or last year burns. Don't want to drive that far to figure out where you can't access.
