I think over a quarter mill is a bit steep for a four day tour even for Belgium. Nothin for Cxehcoslovakia is about right! :D How much do you suppose one needs for der Nederlands? ;)

EG,
I agree that it is bad practice to appoint diplomats according to the spoils system but just FYI you may want go back and review all of Clintons diplomatic appointees. Most appointees under Clinton not only gave huge sums of money but got the treasured night over in the Lincoln suite in the Whitehouse. This certainly didn't start with the current President.

Why do you suppose the European's don't act like allies any more? I think most had high placed government officials reaping big money off U.N.'s oil for food program.

Why is important we are respected by the socialist in Europe? They have only respected the U.S. when we spent blood and treasure freeing them from nomination by imperialism or Fascism. The 6 years I lived with the Europeans I can't think of anyone under the age of 50 who respected the U.S. for anything.

Nothin for Cxehcoslovakia is about right!
Well that would be the right price as there is not a country called Czechlosolvakia or even Cxehcoslovakia  because they have split into the Czech Republic and Slovakia
Nemont

Why do you consider those countries "Allies"? Are you referring to NATO?

Just curious.
