I was just down looking at the hide down at Kodiak Taxidermy and it's a good one. So much more hair on it compared to the other hides he had in his shop. I fly home tomorrow, and then it's king salmon and black bears. Gonna put the hurt on some kings!


Btw, my buddy took this pic a few nights ago in SE AK, of a boar brown bear. He thought it was a sow, till he got home and looked at the pics! It was hanging with two smaller bears for some odd reason, and he mistook those as 3 y/o cubs. Crazy pic tho! The SE brown bears are a few shades darker than the Kodiak bears.

Great pic!! A brown bear hunt is near the top of the list of a dream hunt for me. Just amazingly beautiful critters.

PS-I'm guessing the huge ball sac gave it away as a boar?
