Totally agree. The Branding Iron (BBQ) or Los Coritas (Mexican restaurant downtown) might actually be better options. There is an Asian Food truck that is good but she's only open in the evening.Taco bus is awesome. Sparkys is absolute garbage, but it may be the second best thing in town...
Taco bus or sweet water coffee get the TC3
Hitching post in Melrose
or the wagon wheel in Three Forks
Things have changed significantly over the last couple years. Most places have gone down hill partially because they can't get decent employees others because they got lazy.Good Lord! Must be some real foodies on here. My son played college ball for Western so we were there quite a bit for 5 years. I didn't find the food that bad or bad at all actually. Sparky's was always good. We also went to Papa T's a lot since it was usually a bunch of football players with us. Good pizza, burgers, beer and such.

Agree! Now, I always eat at Calf-A after my elk hunt, so it may be due to eating Mountain House for two weeks, but all I know is that at that moment, they have the world's best cheeseburger!Calf-A in Dell if you are coming from Idaho. Though I haven't been there in a while.
Sadly that was the best place for burgers and beers and they closed because the dude had a few drug problems that caught up with him. It reopened as another stupid casinoI actually had a darn good Mexican meal there but don't remember if it was the taco bus or not.
On another note the beer was good wherever it was I met Mthunter (Grant) for drinks there...
